The Secret To Creating Massive Success In Your Business
Have you ever wondered what it takes to create massive success in your business? Have you ever looked at someone else’s work and wondered what they did that you hadn’t thought of ? I certainly have. It can be really frustrating knowing that you aren’t where you want to be, but not knowing what to do next.
The great thing is that being successful in your business is not complicated. It is very, very simple. Note, however, that I didn’t say it is easy. You still have to put in the work, and lots of it. But know that you can condition yourself, and your business, to be successful.
Before we dive into these techniques, there are two questions you must answer for yourself. Don’t skip this step! It’s an important one.
What does success look like to you? What needs to happen in your business for you to feel successful? Answering these questions before you proceed is critical. You don’t want to risk moving the goalposts once you’ve reached them.
Maybe success is reaching 100,000 people with your message. Maybe it is making a cool million dollars per year. Or maybe success is just being able to quit your job to work on your passion full time. Whatever it is, make sure you write it down right now.

Tip #1: You Must Make An Impact
Ok guys, the cat is out of the bag! The number one tip for creating massive success in your business is by making an impact in your industry. You can’t have a “me too” product or service. You need to be unique in your space. Your work needs to be so helpful, and so useful, that your clients or customers are overjoyed to have found you.
So, you’ll need to figure out how to add a ton of value to your customer’s lives. Start by creating what you wish existed. Take some time to envision what the absolute best version of your business would look like. This is an important step, whether your business is online or off.
What information would make it better and more unique than the rest? What format would make your information the most accessible? What design would speak to your target customers the most?
Think about your favorite companies for a moment- the ones that have made a serious impact on your life. Chances are, they are your favorites because they have made some aspect of your life so much better, that you can’t help but rave about them. And chances are, you aren’t the only one they’ve helped. That is massive value in action.
Take Amazon for example. Who doesn’t ADORE Amazon’s services? (Besides Walmart). Amazon Prime completely revolutionized online purchasing when it was rolled out.
Before Prime, online shopping involved hunting down the right product after looking through a dozen websites, paying a substantial shipping fee to have the product mailed to you, and then waiting at least 4-6 business days for your item to arrive. What a pain! Then Amazon came along.
They offer a huge inventory of goods all on one site. Most of their products are far more affordable than you can find anywhere else, AND they can be shipped for free in just two business days.
I don’t know about you, but I use the service all the time. It has added some serious convenience to my life. Every time I don’t have to get in my car and drive to the store for one or two overpriced items, I save a ton of time, money, gas and mental energy.
I know I’m not the only one. Amazon is one of the world’s fastest growing companies. Just a few days ago, Jeff Bezos surpassed Bill Gates and was named the richest person on Earth. Think about that. Bezos found a way to add massive value, in a way that can reach millions of people at once. That is why he succeeded.
The same goes for Bill Gates, or GM, or General Electric, or even your favorite smaller company. When you find a way to provide some serious help to a vast number of people at once, your business succeeds.
Of course, you don’t need to be the next mega company like Amazon.
Maybe your business helps hopeful authors get their manuscripts picked up by a publishing house. All you need to do is be extraordinarily helpful to those potential authors, and find a way to help many of them at once.
You might do this through a number of ways, such as writing a book, creating a series of training videos, recording speeches, offering a series of webinars, creating a product that is better than anything else out there, etc.

- More accessible
- More thorough
- More fun
- More social
- More practical
Those are just a few ideas to get you started. If you are still having trouble figuring out how to add value, spend some time searching through online forums in your space. What is a common problem you see over and over again?
What kind of help are people looking for that they can’t seem to find? What is the big problem in your industry that no one has solved yet? How could you offer a solution that is better in some way to what already exists?
So that is the first tip to being successful in your business. Provide massive value, and provide it in a way that tons of people can receive.
This, my friend, will be the framework of your entire business. Forget a typical business plan. This is the key information you really need to know to succeed in business.
Tip #2: Teach What You Know
If you are still thinking of a few business ideas and aren’t sure where to start, this tip is for you. Teach what you know! We live in the Information Age of the internet. The vast majority of the time web surfers head over to Google, it’s because they are looking for information.
The great thing for you is that you have knowledge that others would like to have. Yes, really! If you can find a way to package your knowledge in an awesome way and deliver it to hundreds or thousands of people at once, you have a successful business.
The key is that your knowledge needs to have a unique spin, and it needs to be incredible. Of course, that doesn’t mean you need to reinvent the wheel and teach something no one else has ever taught before. Not at all.
You can use your personality and unique set of interests to teach others who share your interests.
For example, maybe you love yoga and you are a vegetarian. Offering awesome yoga classes with included nutritional advice might be a great place to start with a new business. If you want to make it truly unique, however, you’ll want to be even more specific in targeting your audience.
Maybe you’re a vegetarian yogi, and you’re also a 25 year old woman who loves pop music. Now that is specific.
If you look around and notice a lot of other people in the yoga space who are women in your age range, you likely have a very fun and unique way to position your business that makes those women feel like they’ve found a yoga instructor who is absolutely perfect for them.
When you position your business to be unique to a set target audience, and you teach in a way that is accessible to many people at once, you have a very successful business model.
Tip #3: Give Before You Get
I once heard an awesome piece of advice from someone who had been in business for more than 25 years. He said, “Give 5 times more than what you get, and you will always be successful.”
I couldn’t agree more.
People can sense when you are doing something out of passion and a general desire to help others. They feel connected to you when you are able to help solve their problems in a way no one else has.
People also naturally want to help those who help them first. It’s just the way we are hardwired. When you give generously of your time and knowledge, others come to like and respect you. In turn, they also want to help you succeed. Thus they are likely to buy your products, recommend you to others, and promote your business in the online world.
So be generous. Maybe you can offer free training, or answer a handful of email questions each day from people who are looking for advice. Maybe you can find little ways to add extra value to your work.
Always over deliver on what you promised in your products. When you over deliver, your customers will love working with you and will associate you with someone they can trust. And those two things are absolutely key to creating a highly successful, and profitable, business.
